On the mat

Classes are for all levels of practice.

Vinyasa  – This class is open to all … no matter your shape, size, age or experience. The safety and comfort of each student is of the utmost importance in my classes. Here, you will align movement and breath – come into awareness of self in moving through poses in the asana practice. This class pulls from different paths of yoga including : hatha, Kripalu, power and Iyengar. Practice allows the student to move through various poses with the guidance of breath to align body, breath, spirit and mind – always done to a fun playlist with maybe some explicit lyrics!

Power Flow – This takes the vinyasas flow and kicks them up a notch or two (or maybe 7!). In this powerful vinyasa flow class, you will BREATHE, focus, move, stretch and balance.  Power yoga is in a heated studio (84 degrees) that allows you to move with your breath while building strength to your core. While it might be a challenge to get your mat at 6am. It is a blissful way to see the sunrise!

SPA yoga – This is a slow-flow based yoga with restorative elements for a whole-body sensory experience. Here we use all five senses to deepen connection to self – soft candle light, aromatherapy, hands of assists fused with Reiki  and a renewed awareness of taste (chocolate 😊). The SPA practice  (senses, physical movement, awareness) takes the time to open the body to experience the beauty of breath and physical practice to deepen awareness to self. There is an extended and guided shavasana. Be prepared to feel like you just walked out of a SPA! It is great way to end a long day or the long week.

you + me

Have you ever just wanted a little one on one time with a yoga instructor? Call me. Setting up a one on one session is easy – ask. This is your time to nurture your practice on or off your mat. Private yoga instruction is for students who wish to grow their practice. It is an opportunity to enhance your group practice experience. The work can focus on deepening your physical practice, exploring the other 7 limbs, meditation, pranayama, or sutras. This is also a space to develop a practice to manage anxiety, depression, body image, sleep, develop modifications that work with your body – not all of us yogis can balance on our eyelashes; sometimes life is just not in that much balance. I am a certified American Red Cross Mind Body instructor, Trauma -informed practitioner, Trauma Brain Injury Certified as well as girl who lives her yoga life on and off her mat.  I am here to help.
